Deirdre
Ex professional dancer turned Pilates instructor from Sydney, with over 13 years of teaching experience across creativity and biomechanics.
We built this course to bridge an industry gap: qualified instructors completing courses but lacking the confidence to teach group classes effectively. Our programme gives you the tools to confidently deliver inclusive, dynamic and engaging group classes.
It covers the reformer Pilates repertoire, anatomy, biomechanics and teaching technique for confident cueing and class planning, across eight in-person days over four weekends. You'll be assessed by assignments, a theory exam and an in person teach back. Successful completion certifies you as a reformer Pilates instructor.
